  •  You have an idea of what you want but can't find it.

    • You’ve spent hours looking at Pinterest researching inspiration for the perfect prom dress. •  You have trouble finding things that fit.

    • Finding a dress that fits your body type is hard for most people. Dresses are made for standard sizing, but most people are not just one standard size.  You could have a size 12 bust and size 10 waist or a size 0 waist and size 2 hips. Whatever the case, if you get a custom dress we make it to YOUR exact measurements. Remember, your dress will only look as good as it fits!

  • You want something unique.

    • If you can dream it, we can make it!  We will work with you to pick the perfect silhouette, fabric, color, and any details you might want.

  •  You want a specific color.

    • Do you and your squad have a color scheme?  Do you have a color you know you rock? Sometimes a specific dress color is the hardest thing to find.  When you go with custom, we will research fabric until we find the perfect shade for you!

When should you come in to get your dress made/altered?

Prom is not as far as it seems!  For a custom prom dress, we recommend you come in 3-4 months before your prom date.  If you are just needing prom dress alterations, we recommend you come in 2 months before. With custom dresses and alterations for Spring weddings and prom, we fill up quickly!  In other words, BOOK NOW!

  1. Come in for your FREE consultation

    • Bring in any ideas you have for your dress this could be showing us pictures, drawings, or fabric swatches.

  2. We come up with a proposal for your design

    • We research fabric, put your ideas into a design/drawing and come up with an estimate with different fabric options.

  3. You approve the design

    • You come in and pick out your fabric from provided choices, get your measurements taken, and pay the first portion of your payment plan (this acts as a down payment).

  4. We order your chosen fabric

    • This step will be completed once you put down your first payment.

  5. Come in for your 1st fitting

    • Bring your prom shoes for this fitting!  We will make sure if the sizing is correct, pin your hem (with shoes on) and add a bustle if needed.

  6. Come in for your 2nd fitting

    • We will check for any final adjustments needed and check the hem length.

  7. Come in for your final fit and pick up!

    • The dress will be completely ready for prom and will be ready to be taken home given the final payment is paid.

What is the average price of our custom prom dresses?

Did you know the average high school girl spends $300-$700 on her prom dress? That’s without alterations! Designer prom dresses from designers such as Sherri Hill and Jovani on average go for $700-$1,500, again not including alteration costs.

The cost of our custom prom dresses ranges from $500-$1,000.  The pricing depends on fabric costs and the complexity of the design.  And of course, it includes the cost of alterations because we will be making it to fit you!

How can a custom dress be affordable on a high school budget?

  • The dress cost is split up into a payment plan.

    • The total cost can be split up into half or quarter payments. The first payment always acts as the down payment. The final payment must be paid before the dress can be taken home.

  • Most prom girls split the cost with family members.

    • Often, prom girls agree to pay for part of their prom dress while the parents, grandparents or aunts/uncles pay the rest. A designer prom dress makes for a great graduation gift!
